In 2019, Blacksheep Vietnam was founded by Mark Gilligan, a British engineer whose career spans multiple engineering disciplines and advanced manufacturing technologies. For over 30 years, his work has focused on building products that did not previously exist, grounded in physics, chemistry, and complex system engineering.
Originally, he founded Blacksheep Vietnam to establish an engineering hub that could meet the high standards required by his UK-based company, while also diversifying its supply chain beyond the UK. From the outset, the Vietnam team focused on developing high-engineering, high-value products for this UK partner, operating to the same demanding technical and quality expectations.
In late 2024, recognising the growing demand for advanced engineering product development capabilities, Blacksheep Vietnam became an independent company, expanding its capabilities to support a broader range of clients.
Today, our team provides R&D, manufacturing, and business consulting services across multiple industries. We remain our identity as a boutique technology house that specialises in high-engineering, high-value products produced in small volumes, where precision and quality matter most.
